Description |
Gazi University TÖMER is a Turkish Language Teaching Center. We have Turkish courses at all levels: Elementary (A1, A2), Intermediate (B1, B2), Advanced (C1, C2). We apply a carefully prepared syllabus at TÖMER: * Speaking (mutual conversation- verbal expression), *Listening (with our CD’s in lab), *Writing, *Grammar. Our classes are small (7 –15 students per class) and we use modern teaching methods, equipments and materials. Especially we apply the eclectic approach and consider the characteristics of the Ural-Altaic language family in our teaching activities. After the applicants take a placement test, they will be placed in classes according to their level of Turkish. |

Duration |
Our total teaching hours: in elementary level (350 hours), in intermediate level (350 hours), in advanced level (250 hours), lab hours 2 hours per week. In the academic year we have different cultural, social activities. Firstly, visiting sight seeing places for example Atatürk’s Mosoleum, other museums in Ankara, in the second period we travel to touristic places and cities in TURKEY. |

Fee |
The cost of the elementary level is 1500€. Intermediate level is 1000€. The cost of our summer course is 200€ for four weeks and 350€ Euro for six weeks. The cost of our four books and two CD’s are 90€. Shipment abroad is at least 30€. |

Period |
The courses mentioned above go on throughout the whole year at TÖMER intensively and seperately. However, there are also specific and summer courses available. This year summer courses will be held between August 18th and September 26th for EILC and Campus Europae students at Gazi University, Turkish Language Teaching Center (TLTC/TÖMER). |

Registration deadline |
The deadline for registration of intensive course is the end of November. The deadline for registration of the summer course is the end of June. (Our summer courses generally go on July and August with exceptions till the mid of September) |
